Sofstunt Video to SWF and FLV Converter is a video converter. It can open a lot of different video formats, including MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, 3GP, WMV, MOV, QT, FLV, AVI, among others and it can convert those not only to FLV and SWF, but also to AVI, MPV, MP3, MP4, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, WAV, and WMV.
The application has a very plain user interface, but it looks very good. I like the fact that there isn't anything unnecessary on the main window; everything serves a purpose. The first thing that you will notice will be that there isn't a video player. I don't really mind that. I rarely use built-in video players in converters.
At the bottom of the screen there are conversion settings. There you can choose the format that you want to use for the conversion and change the conversion settings for that format a bit. You can add zoom to your converted files and change the aspect ratio, along with its resolution, bit rate, and frame rate.
In my testing, I used a sample DivX file and I converted it to FLV and MOV. Both files played great on VLC. The FLV file showed a little more pixelation than the MOV one, but that is to be expected.
